Q.

#asktheexpert My child is very choosy to eat..He has high level of constipation.He eats very slow although we try to give him him every vegetable but he does not eat every vegetable. Can you suggest anything which can improve his constipation.His weight is 14 kg approx.

A. Dear parent, it is important to include fibrous food like variety of seasonal vegetables, green leafy vegetables and fruits, carrot cucumber , beetroot, papaya, apple, peach banana, prunes whole fruit is better than fruit juice grated and soaked dry fruits Like black currant , prunes, date , figs, nuts like almond, walnut give whole grains like daliya, whole pulses, beans, sprouts avoid refined grains, biscuits and frequent use of bread
