Q.

#asktheexpert my child is suffering from fever as per the advice of doctor I am giving her paracetamol and Azithromycin . How many days we have to give Azithromycin she is also not taking food .

A. 5 days minimum whenever you are taking any medicine which has been given by your doctor you have to wait and watch for few days and follow the instructions given by the doctor and if there is no improvement after three days then take a follow up. so kindly take a follow up with your doctor who will tell you whether any change in medicine or any other investigation is needed or not .

A. Becasule supplement you can start with as of now and these medicines usually are given for 3 to 5 days so it is just a course of medication and antibiotics which is meant to be followed for maximum 3 to 5 days not more than that further if there is any issue the doctor would be able to help you correctly on that
