#asktheexpert my child is having cough, he has been on medication but not helping. he got little fever at night and sharing that he is having headache and bodyache. he is 3.5 years with 14 kg weight.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. you can give paracetamol to the child when the temperature is 100 or more in the armpit of the child.
paracetamol can be repeated maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge and give plenty of fxluids to drink to prevent dehydration.
higher medicines like ibugesic or meftal p is advised by the doctor if required.
keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothexs when the child is having fever
