Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Give him a bowl and a spoon to eat with. Let him eat on his own and let him make a mess and play with the food. This is how he will learn to eat independently. Offer his favourite foods along with the new foods that you want to introduce in his diet. Let him help with the meal preparations. Let him help you in setting up the table before meal preparations or in choosing the vegetable to be cooked for lunch or dinner. Offer colourful foods in colourful plates or in quirky bowls and cut foods into different shapes using food cutter to attract the attention of the kid. Avoid distractions during meal times like TV, laptop, tablet, mobile phones etc. Give him the option to choose what he wants to eat but give him limited healthy options. For example, like do you want a cheese sandwich or a peanut butter sandwich?
