#AskTheExpert My child eyes are becoming red. Consulted Ophthalmologist and she says it's an infection and prescribed 2varities of eye drops. it's been 10days but the condition is same. Do i consult paediatrician?

A. Eye Redness is commonly seen because of some allergic condition , infection or any trauma uiowhich needs proper examination. if it is associated with some discharge it could be infection but no self medication should be used.
