#asktheexpert my child avoiding cow milk, what to do

A. as food for the baby you can give all kind of seasonal fruits and vegetables. you can give Apple everyday .can also give mango , pomegranate,papaya and banana according to the season and requirement . avoid giving banana excessively and daily otherwise it may cause constipation. you can also give rice preparations oatmeals curd preparationsband daliya. it will be better if you are able to give dairy products daily apart from milk. refrigerated and packed foods should be avoided, junk foods should also be avoided. if you will give excessive of milk to the child the hunger may get foy satisfied by that and the child may not be interested in having other variety of food. over all you need to see that you are giving a balanced diet to your child with proper fulfillment of nutritional and energy requirements according to the age

A. But It is not even the correct age for you to introduce cows milk to the child cows milk can be introduced after the age of 12 months only so please introduce it after the 12 months as of now you can give formula feeding or tone pasteurised milk to the child after that you can switch to any other milk
