Q.

#AskTheExpert My bub is 16 months old. he only takes cow milk (8oz) and biscuits for breakfast. is it ok?

A. hello dear good morning biscuit and milk and not a healthy option for the breakfast milk is fine but the skin can be used as a snack in between but not every day sometimes so a proper breakfast is required you can start introducing a good menu slowly

A. Thank you so much for the suggestions. last month when my bub was 15 months old his weight was 11.2 kgs.And he is super active and happy baby( touchwood). Here in Germany baby biscuits are available I try to offer him those with milk.. He refuses everything other than milk after he wakes up. so I am at a loss as in what to offer him after he wakes up..

A. hi please stop giving biscuits. it is not good for your child health. offer homemade healthy food. limit your child milk intake up to 500ml per day. offer variety of food items from different food groups like vegetables fruit nuts pulses beans dairy products etc. if your child looks happy healthy and active, gains enough weight then no need to worry about anything
