#AskTheExpert My bub is 13 days old. He poops after every breastfeeding session. He feeds for around 8-10 mins and then get uneasy and poops and farts. The stools are watery. Is it normal?

A. gastrocolic reflex is very normal in children. in this phenomena the child is having semi solid to solid stool after every episode of of food intake. if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about this phenomena. it is also advisable to cofntinue curd buttermilk apple and banana which will help in proper digestion of food. usually this phenomena decreases with increasing age of the child
