#AskTheExpert my boy is 1.2 year ild .when should i stop mother feeding and how ? Is it ok if i stop forcibly or should i let him wean ?

ideally , mother should feed her child atleast 2 years age.
but as your child is of 1+ year age ,you should start weaning.
but as breastmilk is not only food for a child,it provides comfort and security too ,you must wean your child gradually.
please don't force your child.
for that , understand your child feeding pattern and hunger cues then try to give food before your child asks for feeding.
encourage your child by giving food as per his taste.
