#AskTheExpert my boy had cough since two months i went to doctor gave medicine but no use because after finishing the course again cough came back can you please suggest some medicine and i want to the reason of cough ? He drink hot water and sweets items also not eating

A. it appears to be allergic cough/cold. they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /night and morning. requires examination and start anti allergic medicines. meet dr and prevent such temperature vdariations. there is a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least one montdh and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization. when allergies are not controlled they can lead to intermittent respiratory infections which needs other medicine
