#AskTheExpert my baby will be 1 yr by nxt mnth. his anterior frontanalle has not yet completely fused. by what time will it get fused normly

A. it will be 18 months by the time they will be total fusion of fontanelle For further advice in this regard it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination and proper medication please try to see your local doctor once . . . . .

A. The posterior fontanelle usually closes by age 1 or 2 months. It may already be closed at birth. The anterior fontanelle usually closes sometime between 9 months and 18 months. The sutures and fontanelles are needed for the infant's brain growth and development.
