#AskTheExpert My baby was gaining one kg per month initially Now she has put on only 500gms since one and half months. She is going to turn 5months in a week. Is this normal or should i start solids

A. Hello mom Baby weight should be triple in a year according to birth weight and after one year baby gain weight slowly so you should definitely calculate according to that. Baby should be totally on mother’s milk and there is no need to give anything else to your baby. Tell your baby turned six months old.
