#AskTheExpert my baby was diagnosed with neonatal jaundice. she is close to a month now. but traces of yellow tinge on face is visible at times. does it take time to go? her bilirubin count was 13 when tested on 15th September. she has been feeding, pooping yellow and peeing

A. Hi mommy Consult with your doctor in person for proepr physical examination and treatment Give early morning exposure to sun light Maintain hydration Give adequate feeding Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes Take healthy protein rich nutritious food including fenugreek ajwain butter to increase your breast milk avoid stress stay happy it also help to increase your breast milk you can take lactogen tablet to increase bm
