Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby was born on 10th of may and his cord dried and came off in 6 days only... now I can see abit of blood in his navel... is it normal??

A. not normal.. .it seems umbilical granuloma... kindly do get checked with your paedritician once.. don't apply anything over it and put oil inside.. keep good hygiene . tc..

A. yes it is completely normal. just apply liquid betadine medicine over the area two times a day. it will be fine with in few days. keep the baby well hydrated. take care and all the best for your baby.
