Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby was affected by bacterial infection for past two weeks n she poops 7 times to 8 times per day. we saw local pediatrician n now it's fine.. Doctor told give dexolac nusobee casein n breastfeeding alone during infection time.... before infection I was using simlac advance... Now she 8 months even after giving solids n simlac she poops three to four times in a day.. Is that fine ??? should I stop giving simlac ??

A. in this case it is difficult to comment here without proper evaluation and clinical assessment. so it will be better if you consult your nearest doctor to give proper suggestions about it proper treatment would be possible only after prsluoper diagnosis is formed after knowing proper history & clinical examination according to the symptoms so please consult nearby doctor once.

A. Hi mom Yes passing out motion 3-4 times in a day is perfectly fine.. The motion should not be loose and watery, otherwise there is no problem. U can continue to give similac till one year. After that u can start with animal milk.
