Q.

#asktheexpert My baby's weight is increasing but baby's body is thin. What should be done in such situation?

A. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also. the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding. meet the doctor for weigcht assessment. if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake. if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child

A. Body is just a type you know it’s just a body type sometimes it could be thin sometimes it could be more thick but that’s normal if your child is gaining sufficient amount of height and weight as per the age then there is no problem with that
