Q.

#asktheexpert My baby’s TSH level was high at the time of delivery and after 6 weeks also on higher site doctor started thyronorm 37.5mcg . We check his TSH regularly its normal . My question is when to start tapering ? And when to stop ?

A. I don’t think you can ever stop the medication . it has come under control only when the medication is being given. Tapering will be done by the doctor, and that will depend upon the TSH values.
