If your 7-month-old baby's body feels hot and her stool is sticky, she may be experiencing a mild infection, teething symptoms, or digestive upset. First, check her temperature—if it’s above 100.4°F (38°C), she may have a fever, and you can give paracetamol drops as per your pediatrician’s advice. Keep her well hydrated with breast milk, formula, or small sips of water (if advised by your doctor). For sticky stools, continue offering easily digestible foods like rice water, moong dal water, or mashed banana. Avoid giving heavy or new foods for a couple of days. If the fever continues, she becomes irritable, or her stool gets worse or has mucus or blood, consult your pediatrician promptly for further evaluation.
