Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby prefers semi solids than milk. only 3 times in a day he asks for milk. if i offer him milk when he's hungry, he won't accept. he only accepts semi solids. he takes 3 meals and one fruit in a day. is that okay to have food 4 times and milk 3 times in a day in this age?

A. if he accept well than can give 4 times semi solid milk. You can give Daal Khichdi with adding variety of veggies like Spinach, potatoes, beans, carrot, pumpkin, broccoli... Give Ragi , makkhana, rice, porridge, oats. Give fruits like peach, pear, apple, avcado, banana in pureed form or mashed form

A. 6 to 8 months: 24 to 36 ounces of formula or breast milk (now that your baby's a more efficient nurser, you'll probably breastfeed her four to six times a day) 4 to 9 tablespoons of cereal, fruit and vegetables a day, spread out over two to three meals
