Q.

#asktheexpert my baby poops 10 times a day. she is 9 months old and is 9 kgs. Could she be lactose intolerant? because she poops only after feeds. she drinks formula around 6-7 times a day 120 ml. when we tried the lactose free formula. her poops had drastically decreased. but how can i know for sure whats wrong?

A. relax No problem if baby is passing adequate urine. If baby is active and playful,  no fever,  passing adequate urine ie.  minimum 6-8 times per day, then no need to worry for motion ( once in 7 days or  15 times per day-  both conditions are totally normal.k
