#asktheexpert my baby poop is green greyish has yellow seeds like something its been morethan 20 days i consulted with pediatrician he said its normal but my baby gaining very less weight she was born 2 kg and after two and a half month she is 4kg only

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. the green colour that many times is present in the stool is due to the digestive enzymes (bile )present in the stomach and when the food reacts with the digestive enzymes this can gisve green colour to the stool.
the importance is of consistency of the stool so if the consistency is watery and green then only you need to meet the doctor but if it is semi solid to solid green stool then no need to meet the doctor.
