#asktheexpert My Baby poop colour is green from day 1 to till date sometimes it’s mix yellow and now he is 4month running. Can you please let us know is that okay or should I consult pediatrician for that

usually it is normal
in breastfed babies it is caused by imbalance between foremilk and hindmilk
so please feed your child on each breast at least 20 minutes so he or she can get full fat hindmilk well.
make changes in your diet also as it might be a reaction to the food which you ate
and if a child is formulafed baby then it is caused by iron supplements of formula
so don't worry
but if a child passes green stool with mucus and foul smell then you should consult your pediatrician
