Q.

#asktheexpert My baby of 6 months old tilts her head slightly towards the right while sitting or standing. But she has no problem turning her head or neck on either side. What can I do to correct her posture ?

A. neck holding of the child should be present by 4 months to maximum 5 months of age. regular massage of the back asx well as the neck will help in strengthening the muscles of this area. if neck holding and head holding is not proper by the end of 5 months it is important to meet the doctor for examination to find the cause of delayed milestones

A. The initial time when the kids do not have proper stability sometimes this can be seen but if the proper control is there and still if the child is behaving like this and give it some more time maybe around 15 to 20 days more and save the head is tilted towards little bit of other side also then it would not be a problem otherwise you can check with your doctor for that
