Q.
#asktheexpert My baby not pooping since 3 days. Last poop was also hard and happened after a gap of 2.5-3 days. Advised to take colimex df,rantac,domstal as per one of the doctor suggestion. Could you please advise if these simultaneous intake of these medicines gives good results. I am not sure and dont wanna too much medicines intake for 2 month baby. Please advice. Thank you.

Author of questionFather of a 4 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. Thank you Doctor. Can other two (rantac,domstal) be given. Sometimes, Baby’s cry time becomes high (not sure if due to any gastric issue or poop becoming hard and she doesn’t want it to be out due to pain). Please advise. Thanks.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. do not give colic aid for poop at all. it s ok for a baby to not do potty daily as the diet is basically liquid as milk. So even if baby does not poop for 7 days it s all ok and should not be given any medicine at all
