NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. No. It's best not to season your baby's food with salt. Family and friends may advise you to start putting salt in your baby's food as soon as she starts weaning foods, but until they are 12 months old month, babies need less than 1g of salt a day. Toddlers also need very little salt.
