Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day. try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful. For cyold you can give drops wikoryl AF 0.5 ml to the child 2-3 times per day. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations . If fever is present give paracetamol.

Hi I would just advise you to consult your doctor for a proper medicines for the same in the between I would advise you to just give some ginger juice and date syrup mixture to your child twice a day that’s what we do help in reducing down cough to your child and also nebulise if required
