Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby is one month old now and his weight is 3.2 kg same as his birth weight he still have little effect of jaundice . my question is I am unable to meet his hunger through breastfeed he is still after breastfeed need formula feed I am unable to meet his hunger please help me how I can increase my breast milk so that I can meet his hunger and reduce his dependency on formula feed.

A. Weight gain in a child is a good indicator for proper health of the child and there should be a regular weight gain as per the age of the child. if there is not a proper weight gain it can be because of many factors and three most important causes are Baby not takingg enough calories Baby is not absorbing the enough calories which the baby is taking Baby is burning too many calories . So at proper assessment is very important to know the cause regarding this .
