Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby is one month old. I am giving him formula feed and expressed breast milk in a bottle as he cannot latch on as I have small nipples. I used to feed him using a nipple shield but he knocks off the nipple shield while feeding so I am unable to use it now. Can I still teach my baby to latch on while still bottle feeding ?

A. if you are having this issue you can consult to lactational expert so that she can guide you properly regarding this and you can try to feed in a proper position

A. U Try to feed your child without nipples the lonely maybe that way your child will learn to take a feed better from you otherwise it would be a better option to continue using appreciate if your child is comfortable with it but the last option is that your breast feed your child by expressing it with a breast pump
