#asktheexpert my baby is one and a half months old. He has gas problem. Doctor prescribed colcaid syrup. But it’s not work for him. What should I do

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr old boy4 years agoA. Hello good evening !! Generally new born babies face gas problem due to gasping of air while taking feed and release as gas, no need to worry about it do continue syrup as directed by Doctor.
Do tummy massage daily, apply warm coconut oil or warm castor oil on baby's tummy and gently massage for 10 minutes in clockwise direction,also do cycling exercise by moving baby legs towards tummy and back to normal repeat it for 5-8 times,this will relieve from gas problem.
