#asktheexpert my baby is now a year old but she is not started her steps ...neither she is standing properly ?

A. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will siit without support than by 9 months usually baby crawls anhd in 10 months baby will stand with support. After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.

A. Assisted Walking: Stand behind your child, place your hands around his upper arms, and pull him up to a standing position. Gently pull one arm forward and then the other. His feet will naturally follow as he rotates his hips to step. Keep practicing walking until your baby is ready to stop.
