A. For your 7-month-old baby, you are already giving Vitamin D 400 IU (1 ml) daily, which is essential for bone health. Can You Give Ostocalcium Along with Vitamin D? Ostocalcium contains Calcium + Vitamin D. Since your baby is already getting Vitamin D 400 IU, giving both together may lead to excess Vitamin D intake. Too much Vitamin D can cause issues like constipation, nausea, or kidney problems. What Should You Do? If your pediatrician has not advised calcium supplements, your baby may not need Ostocalcium if they are on a balanced diet with milk and solids. If your doctor suggests calcium supplementation, they will adjust the Vitamin D dose accordingly. Best Option? Consult your pediatrician before adding Ostocalcium to avoid excessive Vitamin D intake.
