A. For weight gain, it is important to include home cooked fatty foods in different forms like potato, rice, pumpkin, sweet potato, banana, avocado, cereals, legumes, eggs, chicken, fish, ghee, dry fruits mixed with milk shakes and 500-600 ml milk daily. Feed 3 main meals and 2-3 times healthy snacks. Keep him physically active and well hydrated with water, fresh juices, buttermilk and coconut water. Restrict intake of sugar, fried and ready to eat foods.
