#AskTheExpert My baby is just one month old and he got some cold and cough..not able to sleep properly..any advise or suggestion will be great

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. For nasal blockage as well as cough and cold you can give nasal saline drops of any brand and it can be given again and again that is can can be repeated every three hourly.
It is salt water so does not have any side effects.
Continue feeding milk to the child and try to prevent temperature variations around the child

Give indirect steam to ur baby 2-3 times in a day and apply warm mustard oil with pinch of rock salt on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough and cold. Cover ur baby properly. For medicines consult your doctor for the same as the baby is very small.
