#AskTheExpert my baby is in 4 month 10 day.. he is always in breast feeding , no baby formulation drink. but there is prblm in constipation..baby is not doing stool from 4 day . there no pain in abdomen .. or there is no crying for constipation. only frequently he farted ....so wat so I do for my baby ...

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi parent ur kid 4 m old, on breast feeding and having constipation, passing stools oncein 3-5 days is normal, as long baby active taking feeds well without vomitings do not worry

Constipation is common in babies. Babies can go without poop for 5-6 days altogether and even more. Breast feed babies are rarely constipated.
So no need to worry.
Do cycling exercise of legs and lift the legs and gently press across the tummy for bowel movement. Take care
