#AskTheExpert my baby is having high fever from last night . I am giving him paracetamol in every 6 hour. after giving it's decreasing but after 4 he it's again coming. what medicine should I give?

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations.
cold sponginhig of the whole body with tap watter can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

NikithaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello give paracetamol once in every 4 to 6 hrs and also it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe as the baby is also small which is s better
