#AskTheExpert my baby is having green sticky stool since 5 days is it normal? she also has cough maybe is it bcz of that?

Sasi InfantaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Better consult your doctor, green sticky in the sense may be a reason of infection,,but if your baby is active and passing pee as usual then nothing to worry, still you have doubts better consult your doctor

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. the green colour that many times is present in the stool is due to the digestive enzymes (bile )present in the stomach and when the food reacts wdith the digestive enzymes this can give green colour to the stool.
the importance is of consistency of the stool so if the consistency ids watery and green then only you need to meet the doctor but if it is semi solid to solid green stool then no need to meet the doctor.
