#asktheexpert my baby is having fever from last 2days and it's not getting control. temperature is 100+ and we are giving medicine and keeping her in wet cloth. and can we give her plan electrol water with less quantity. please suggest me

A. tepid sponging recommend Baby is having cold cough and fever then it can be due to viral infection you need to give him steam inhalation indirectly to times in the day and also keep him well hydrated .consult with your doctor near by who will examine the baby and guide you with appropriate medications in their proper dose. Viral fever can last from 3-5 days so you need to to give the prescribed medications for this duration at least and if it is persistent beyond you need to go for the investigation as per the advice of the doctor

A. thank you doctor. there is no cough. some blood infection she has. Yes we are under medication as per the local doctor guidelines
