A. For a 4-month-old baby, greenish-yellow poop can be normal, especially if the baby is breastfed or formula-fed. It can be due to foremilk-hindmilk imbalance, slight digestive changes, or mild reactions to something in the mother's diet (if breastfeeding). Formula-fed babies may also have greenish stool due to iron-fortified formula. However, if the poop is consistently watery, frothy, foul-smelling, or accompanied by discomfort, fever, or dehydration, it may indicate an infection or digestive issue, and a doctor should be consulted.
