Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby is diagnosed with uti having 20 puscells in urine and a blood test with high crp value. how long does it take to recover from this? After taking antibiotics her crp has reduced to 11. now antibiotic course of 5 days has been given. will uti causes increase in crp ?

A. Whenever there is some sort of infection in the body, the CRP level will increase so if the infection goes away completely, the value will come back to normal. So complete the course
