Q.

#AskTheExpert My baby is depending on formula milk and breast milk both. Major portion is the formula feed. She's 5+ months now. since last few weeks her poop is greyish green. During her routine checkup I consulted this with the regular doctor,he advised that's fine as its normal for the brand of formula milk she's taking which is Nan Excellapro 1 I changed her brand to Similac Total Comfort but still she has a green poop. is that really normal? please advise

A. Green colour Motion is normally seen in babies and mostly it may be due to less feeding, or formula milk feeding. if the baby is passing motion frequently in a day and the colour of the motion is ranging from light yellow to dark green aur brown it may be considered as normal in such a case only frequent feeding and exclusive breastfeeding is suggested. If it is associated with mucous hreare watery and have bad smell than there could be some infection, also so if there are any other associated problem like fever ,vomiting then you should consult your doctor .
