#asktheexpert my baby is almost 11 months old but still she is not sitting herself or trying to imitate our actions. what to do? she was born at 36 weeks ? she's delaying because of prematurity or anything else I'm so confused please help me .

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. sitting without support and crawling in children may sometimes come after one year of age also.
if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry. just take care of regular diet and baby massage which will help in strengthening the musxcles needed for sitting and crawling.
in some cases crawling may be absent in children and directly the child will begin to stand with support and later wxalk with support and then without support.
take a medical check up done to confirm if there is need of any intervention.
