Q.

#asktheexpert My baby is about to reach 6 months old. How important it is to give her typhoid and influenza shot? Is often runs with cold. I am hesitating because of the fever and other things as there are lots of immunization coming. Can I give her later?

A. yes can give later also. but simple fever , cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccination if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination
