#AskTheExpert my baby is 9month 27day he still don't hv teet but about six seven days he is sick like having fever cranking crying in mid night ignoring food ...i visit docter too but here docters give only antibiotics and fever medicine now he have mild fever but still ignoring food wts d reson please reply

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. yes can be a sign so. teeth eruption can make baby cranky as it s painful . Drooling saliva , hard gums , and a cranky baby are signs. Can massage baby gums well for ease. Can use teether silicon or wooden for baby . Maintain hygeine of teether .
Can be given vitamin d3 from birth till 1 year of age 1 ml 400 IU or 0.5 ml if 800 IU daily .
