Aditya GeraGuardian of a 3 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. This happened to my son (8mo) as well. Our doc suggested Eumosome ointment (twice a day), other times apply boroline and coconut oil alternatively.
Things that you need to ensure
- Don't make him wear diaper until redness start reducing.
- Thumb rule - Everytime you change his diaper, clean the area with clean and wet cloth, let it air dry for 10 mins. and then make him wear other diaper.
- This redness occurs due to fungal infection, when we put on the diaper without letting the area dry completely.
