#AskTheExpert my baby is 9 month old he is having cough from 2 days giving mucolite by doctor advise but it is not working can i give ascoril L drops or syrup / mox drop or syrup please suggest

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. please continue mucolite to the baby for 3 more days Cold and cough in the babies are because of viral infections which will take at least five to six days time to subside it is advisable to do steam inhalation frequently to liquefy the secretions as well put nasoclear saline drops in the nose of the baby
