But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out .
Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarmb water is also helpful . hy
Doctor consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

If the fever is going to last for more than three days then you’ll have to get a blood test done to know what kind of a fever it is it it could be due to some kind of a viral infection as well so just to be more sure about it I would recommend you to get a blood test done for the childWrite Your Answer Here
