Q.

#asktheexpert My baby is 8 months 10 days old.At the doctor visit he said to take MCV 1 vaccine and MMR during this month.I know MMR is needed compulsory but I don’t understand for what MCV 1 is for and is can be given us it safe??

A. meningococcal vaccine is optional vaccine it is not a compulsory vaccine to be taken more about not required to be given to all the babies unless baby is having less immunity
