Q.

#asktheexpert my baby is 8 month 26 days old..after every small travel she got cold and cough and fever....I m scared of travelling now. because every time I had to prepare for medicine and I guess she's also irritated of medicine.. please suggest me something

A. regular cough and cold in children are most commonly associated with allergy which might be due to weather changes on temperature variations. many times simple cough and cold is followed by secondary infections. it is very common that children will haxve a recurrent cough and cold as well as fever before 5 years of age and after that a proper immunity is developed and then this problem will go away. get the child vaccixnated for flu vaccine which will again help in decreasing this problem

A. she got cold and cough give steam inhalation use nasoclear saline nasal drops apply warm mustard oil on baby chest back feet and gently massage at bed time you can use Babyhug rapid relief baby rub
