#AskTheExpert my baby is 7 months old. she has fever from last 2 days. her fontanelle is little swollen i. e. it's not visibly palpating . is it normal?

A. Hello, your baby girl is 7 months old and she is having a fever and her frontanale is bulging up so don’t worry if she doesn’t have vomitng and crying

A. A tense or bulging fontanelle occurs when fluid builds up in the brain or the brain swells, causing increased pressure inside the skull. When the infant is crying, lying down, or vomiting, the fontanelles may look like they are bulging
