#asktheexpert my baby is 5 months old his head is bigger than body, and he doesn’t have good head control. Doctor said he has hypotonia with lower muscle tone. Is it curable? And how can we take care of him.

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl8 months agoA. While lifting the baby give full support with one of your hand and must be careful always during keeping in your shoulder. Due to bigger size head the neck muscles get enough strength to hold head weight, hence much care has to be taken. If possible contact the doctor for any physiotheraphy.
